MyCeto works with your kit — not against it.
MyCeto doesn’t replace your controller or auto-tester. It reads from them and brings those readings into one connected picture of your system alongside your tests, dosing, and livestock. We connect to a manufacturer’s cloud only with their agreement; on your own network, a Ceto device you install reads your own controller at your request. Always read-only, and revocable by you at any time.

How we do integrations
MyCeto reads; it never controls. For cloud integrations we connect only with the manufacturer’s agreement. We don’t scrape credentials or ask you to hand over your cloud password to a third party. An agreed API connection can be monitored, limited, and switched off by the manufacturer and by you. As we put it to our partners: you can block an IP address; you cannot revoke a password. That is why partner integrations are added slowly and carefully.
Reading on your own network
Some controllers can be read directly on your home network. Where that is possible, a Ceto device that you install reads your controller’s own status data, at your request, and sends the readings to your twin. It only reads; it cannot change settings or switch anything. Nothing is circumvented, no connection is made from our cloud into your network, and any login your controller needs stays on the device. Local integrations are not endorsed by the manufacturer and are offered on a best-effort basis, because a firmware update can change what a controller exposes. Unplug the device and the reading stops.
