Where MyCeto’s answers come from

Most AI tools can’t tell you where an answer came from. Ours is built so it has to.

Owned, commissioned reference content — not scraped.

MyCeto's assistant is grounded in scientific reference datasets commissioned by Ceto Cloud and reviewed by PhD marine scientists, covering marine chemistry, marine biology, aquarium health, operations, and equipment. We own this content outright. It isn't scraped from forums, and it isn't whatever an internet-trained model happens to believe today. Alongside it sits manufacturer product documentation — used with permission — so answers about your kit reflect what the manufacturer actually says.

Every substantive answer shows its working.

When MyCeto tells you something about your chemistry or your livestock, the references it drew on are listed with the answer. You're never asked to take it on faith — and if an answer touches your specific system, it says exactly which parts of your twin it used.

What it won't do.

MyCeto advises; you decide. It never controls equipment, never doses your tank, and never pretends certainty it doesn't have — where the science is genuinely contested or your data is thin, it says so. It's a very well-read second opinion that knows your system. It isn't a substitute for your own judgement, and it isn't trying to be.
